Hi Jelle,
I’ve been working on the 3^4 blind solve for a while now and have the
complete set of Macro’s ready for the solve. Three "blind" attempts later
(which takes quite a long time each) and I seem to keep messing up the
set-up moves (which do get ridiculously tricky). My algs I use do the
following:
- Swop 4 center pieces.
- Swop 4 edge pieces.
- Swop 4 corner pieces.
And that’s all you really need.
Any orientations can be solved with the set-up moves (which I manage just
fine when not in "blind" mode). It does get tricky when your buffer’s
target is one of the other pieces being continuously swopped (for which you
would use a separate alg in M2 blind solve). Out of blind mode I haven’t
run into any parity problems, so as yet do not know if there are any.
Unfortunately I don’t get much time for these games… sigh.
Kind regards
Johan Groenerwald
