I use OBS, as long as your pc decent. obsproject.com
Ray uses Camstudio, and his program seems to be a Custom Build, and it
seems usable (despite the 2.7 version I downloaded lags a lot), if he still
remembers where he downloads it, just don’t get it from the main website.
Bandicam is also a good option, except the free version has watermark, and
a 10 minute limit for each file. www.bandicam.com
