Congrats from me too Ed, and thank you for the interesting writeup! Also,
thanks so much for being a vocal public supporter of MagicTile :)

A feature idea popped into my head while reading. We should have two
counts for puzzle programs that support macros. One would be the existing
number, the total number of twists. A second would be the number where a
macro execution counts as 1, rather than counting the number of twists in
the macro. This second count would be closer to what the user experiences
for solution length.

About the wiki, one simple thing we should do to make it less unwieldy is
split the solution list to multiple pages (one page for spherical puzzles,
one for Euclidean, one for Hyperbolic, one for Skews). The main solutions
page could have a summary and links to the other pages. I just took a
quick peek at the current page, and it was working except for some errors
in creating Thumbnails. Maybe splitting it out would fix that.
