Here’s my experience:

Long time ago a mess
Now a common sight
Just solved it yesterday
After two nights

First there was the cross
So easy to do
Took just 12 moves
How was it for you?

Then there were the faces
Which made there be restrictions
Forget just one step over
Then you’d be in frustration

In the faces included the last three
They were worse than the others
But they were so easy to solve
They weren’t even a bother

Now I got stuck here last time
Didn’t know what to do
But this time I’ll pay attention
And hopefully it’ll go through

I’m talking `bout the edges
The ones with 3 colours
They took the longest
But then I went much farther

The corners were last
I still need to work hard
It’s the last stretch
I’ve gone pretty far

Now there’re two corners left
I solve both of them
Then the screen pops up
And I was congratulated

It’s the only 4D 8-cell solve not by a computer or undo!

Anyways, I’m not facing a parity issue because I can solve the 3-D analogue of my problem in literally 1.5 seconds!
