Unbelievably, it just took me two (2) separate readings of the introductory
verses in the preface of "Permutation City":
"Into a mute crypt, I
Can’t pity our time
Turn amity poetic
Ciao, tiny trumpet!
…" etc.
before my brain went "Aha, I see what you did there" (anagrams ==
permutations).
