I like the macro- and setup-posibilities offered in MT.
For my actual "1M+twist" I prepared 3-cycles during a full week (elapsed time) and reduced some of them from 7700 twists to 2500 twists.

Ed, congrats on solving all those difficult and long puzzles… you must have some very long algorithms, I hope you are not doing many of those moves by hand. I don’t like using macros so even a few thousand moves take me a lot of time.

It’s really cool to see so much excitement on the Klein Bottle Rubik’s Cube - 75 solvers is huge for MagicTile. If they start solving the other stuff though, it’ll be hard to keep track - maybe someone can implement a kind of online leaderboard and have the program automatically upload solves to it? My friend Ben Whitmore (a Klein Bottle Rubik’s Cube solver) did something very similar for his sliding puzzle simulator.

Oh, and since the last version of MagicTile I had, there are 41 new puzzles, and I went and solved 30 of them, mostly with the same strategies as other puzzles I’ve done. So that’s
