For me it was about 60-72 hours of pure time (almost the same time as for 3^7) - and it was with active usage of macros and automatic undo of setup sequences. Calendar time of solve - about two months.

Solving without macros is possible (layer by layer). But you should completely understand geometry of 120-cell (to know what twists are safe at the current moment). I haven’t try it, solved only 4 cells of 120 by that method.
